Like many other fields, the most recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) have undoubtedly impacted the field of Requirements Engineering (RE). Following our goal to ensure that RE remains at the highest and most up-to-date standard, we established the Special Interest Group for AI. This group is made up of a team of experts from various fields within RE and Business Analysis (BA) in the IREB community. The SIG regularly meets to discuss their diverse perspectives on the intersection of AI and RE.
The goals of the AI SIG are to highlight and explore the possibilities and challenges posed by AI, provide guidance, and develop best practices. The SIG’s insights are shared with the IREB community through our AI SIG Newsletter on LinkedIn [#AIREB] and articles in the RE Magazine, creating a platform for broader discussion of the topic outside the SIG. These snippets are compiled in our RE AI- Booklet, which is available for free download.
